After having come to know about violence being performed in the above manner, Rev. Prabhushree (Shri-Sat-Chit-Atman) went on pondering more and more deeply over this subject and simultaneously went on clarifying many evils arising out of them. In this context, He had written one literacy piece of work viz. “When Compassion Leaves…” (see last page of this section). In this piece of writing, He has given the most appealing description of the state of human being when compassion leaves his heart, which touches the soul of man. Some of the abstracts from this literacy piece of writing are given below :-

1. The light of his discriminative faculty dies.

2. The aroma of virtue evaporates.

3. Ignorant and unheeded, soul sinks into a deep slumber.

4. A moral blight descends on the collective conscience of the community.

5. Civilization subverted by a soulless science and an ethic-less economics is reduced to an empty shell.

6. Struck by the materialistic glitter of a false prosperity derived from a ruthless exploitation and a reckless destroying of innocent life, the people, dislodged from right thought and conduct, lose their way into the dark vale of man-made misery and self-destruction.

7. Where there is no compassion, people perish.

In the end, in a gist form He has told everything in one sentence only that “WHERE THERE IS NO COMPASSION, PEOPLE PERISH”.

The imagination of human life without compassion would be in fact “a society made of demons with beautiful masks.” Such a society ultimately gets destroyed.
