IS IT POSSIBLE TO AVERT DISASTER PROPOUNDED BY GOD ? It is the duty of every wise man to deliberate and contemplate on this important question. Amongst the obstructing constituents of the important work of immediately pushing out series of calamities causing ‘Pralaya’, there appear two wrong beliefs which are great obstacles. The first is the belief prevailing from a long time in the Hindu religion according to which “it is the God only who is the creator, sustainer and destroyer of the universe”; whereas in accordance with the second belief “Mainly, God only incarnates himself in order to reduce the burden on earth.” Because of these, people consider Pralaya normal and only a necessary phenomenon destined by God. As regards the first belief it suffices to say that, in fact, ‘Parabrahm Ishwar’ is not the creator or destroyer of universe, he is merely the sustainer. In accordance with the laws of nature, universe comes into existence and is created and gets worn out and ultimately dissolved by nature itself. Whereas the power of causing destruction in between is ‘Avidya-Maya’ (opposite power of God) and its forces. ‘Parbrahm Ishwar’ is only the sustainer and that too mostly through moral and spiritual means. It is true that incidentally, the incarnations of ‘Parbrahm Ishwar’- Bhagwan Shri Ramchandraji and Shri Krishna Parmatma in view of their having taken birth in warrior class, had engaged themselves in wars or advised them in performance of true duty, engagement in judicious reign of states for protection of ‘Dharma’ and morality because of inevitable circumstances, in their natural motiveless fervour absorbed in ‘Brahm’, but these occasions are exceptions and not rules. Hence, even though ‘ParBrahm Ishwar’ takes birth for removal of sufferings of the people born through ignorance, by establishing of ‘Sat-Dharma’, yet it is not established that He can do this work only violence. The through examples of Shri Kapil Bhagwan, compassion-incarnate Shri Buddha Bhagwan, uplifter of ‘Dharma’ Shri IshuBhagwan (Jesus Chrisr), Incarnation of love Shri Chaitanya Mahaprabhuji and Satyayuga-dharni Shri RamkrishnaParmatma are enough. From this it will be possible to see that there is no real relation of true incarnation of ‘ParaBrahm Ishwar’ as performer of violence or ‘Pralaya’. ‘Parbrahm Ishwar does not incarnate to literally lessen the burden of earth and hence the question of violence is out of place. The purpose of incarnation of God is lighten the terrified hearts and mind of mankind by removing through his power of truth the forces of ‘Maya’ and ‘Avidya’ which have taken grip of the human hearts, by removing through true knowledge the wrong beliefs established in the psychology of mankind, by His sacred and divine sport. Violence, however, makes people dependant on destiny or inhumanity.

It is necessary to keep in mind the fact regarding ‘Pralaya’ that when the total of bad deeds of mankind reach their peak then powers of ‘Avidya’ by the help of their forces can propagate ‘Pralaya’. But this power does not belong to ‘ParaBrahm Ishwar’. In fact, it is a force gone far from ‘Parbrahm Ishwar’ and antagonistic to ‘Brahm’. This power of ‘Avidya’ is the inspirer of bad deeds and subjugates people under ignorance and only by support of their bad deeds also it can become a destroying force. From this it should also become clear that ‘ParBrahm Ishwar’ is not the creator of ‘Pralaya’ and true incarnation of this ‘Ishwar’ does not take birth to unload the burden of earth by violence. Yet to pronounce that activity of Incarnation ofStump ‘Ishwar’ is to propagate of ‘Pralaya’ is to help to the incarnation of ‘Avidya-Maya’ in war like destructive activity of ‘Pralaya’ inviting one’s own destruction as well as of the people. It is as good as binding oneself along with mankind in the bondage of terrible world of ‘Avidya’. It is like putting into motion forces of ‘Pralaya’ by permitting the sages and saints to become inactive by the wrong inspiration (from spiritual angle) of ‘Avidyatmak Maya’ and through their very own ignorant prayer. It is identical to enthusing him with power of incarnation of ‘Maya’, eager to be recognized as Incarnation of God through power of his ‘Tapasya’ (penance) in his action of igniting inhuman, illusory fire of ‘Pralaya’ leaving behind ashes, and making people unthinking and dependent on destiny instead of pushing out calamities of ‘Pralaya’ by means of prayer and proper diligence based upon power of spirituality making people forget the existence, knowledge, power of truth and compassion of ‘Parbrahm Ishwar’ which is akin to making them lacking in true faith and discretion. Now if people give up the above mentioned wrong beliefs and become faithful believers of ‘Parbrahm Ishwar’ only, then the willpower of ‘Parmatma’-with form of truth-being always free and based upon the spiritual science, it is certainly possible to remove calamites of ‘Pralaya’ through proper means of right effort conducted by methodical process by the help of ‘Parmatma’. Not only this but ‘Parmatma’ being the moral-spiritual sustainer-father by his power of truth can be the elevator, ruler and protector of mankind and of dumb creations against forces of ‘Maya’. Yet in the help based upon spiritual science, truth-based-duty-activated co-operation of people by way of singular (Anannyata) and desireless devotion to ‘Parmatma’ is vitally necessary. n conclusion, in the first instance it is most necessary to turn towards ‘Parmatma’ for pushing out ‘Pralaya’ forming calamities by spiritual means, which is possible through non-stop remembrance of the name of God. In addition to this, in averting these great calamities, the continuous practice of means and constant performance of ‘Tapasya’ (penance) being also equally necessary, the real idea of the usefulness and inevitability of the ‘Adhyatma (spiritual)-Yagna’ (see Brahm Mantra) in the form of ‘AkhandDhun’ (constant, continuous, unbroken, round-the-clock recitation) of ‘Brahm-Mantra’ will be automatically understood.
