From his very childhood, there were signs of spirituality in Him and with the increase in age they assumed more and more concrete form. Attraction to the Supreme Being was inherently found in him. When He went to a temple to have ‘Darshan” (seeing the idol), He used to enter into a meditative state before the idol for hours together and this had become a routine affair with Him.

He along with His family shifted to Ramod and from there again to Kotdasangani where He stayed for some time and at approximately at the age of nine, He came to Jamnagar and it is here only that He completed His study upto metric.

His life of childhood days was simple, pure, spiritual and regular. During this period of His life, no special miraculous events have been noted to occur. But from a friend of His childhood days, we have come to know that during ordinary discussion, He used to become introvert and did not speak anything for some time. However, at that time, this state was assumed to be a mental weakness. Still however, in education and other fields, His skill was found to have been of the highest degree.
